PPG: Earth and Environment are now publishing a new section, intended as a complement to its long-running Classics Revisited features. Articles in this section are intended to illuminate progress in physical geography in terms of the evolution of ideas over time. They need not be focussed on any one paper or book but can involve several related publications. Unlike 'Classics' they may well focus on the more obscure, less well known but nevertheless significant aspects of the evolution of the subject. Contributions of 2, - 3, words will be welcome.
